Ariki Sir Tumu Te Heuheu -  Kai Arahi

Ariki and Paramount Chief of Ngaati Tuwharetoa, Chairman Maaori Heritage Council - Historic Places Trust, Chairman Tuwharetoa Maaori Trust Board, Previous Chairman World Heritage Committee, Honourary Doctorate of Literature (Massey). Tumu is an advocate of  Environmental and Heritage issues and a traditional leader of considerable influence.

Thia Priestly - Administrator

Extensive management experience. Manager of the Te Kuiti Hospital and Waikato Community Health Services.  Thia is active in the local Te Kuiti Community with Rotary and various health groups. She manages 85 staff, a multi million dollar service budget  and is also active on her Marae. 

Kaawhia Te Muraahi (Right) - Chairman

Widely travelled internationally. Advocate for Indigenous Human Rights. Graduate of the Centre for Executive and Corporate Education, School of Management, Waikato University, very active in hapuu and Marae matters. Strategic Business Management and Governance advisor. Of Waikato-Maniapoto, Raukawa and Tuwharetoa heritage.

Louis Te Rongonui Hitiri Paerata II

BA Waikato University, Prison Officer, graduate of the Whakarewarewa School of Maaori Art and Crafts (whakaairo). Active in his local community.

Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court. Law lecturer and researcher, Te Piringa School of Law, Waikato University. Robert has a special interests in the history of O-Raakau.  Ngaati Paretekawa (Maniapoto) and Ngaati Te Kohera (Raukawa / Tuwharetoa).
